Project Validation Survey of Medical and Other Equipment in Health Facilities in North Punjab (2010)
Client Asian Development Bank / Government of the Punjab
Brief Description The GoPb intended to undertake an extensive validation of health facilities in the Punjab to establish the availability of various types of medical and other equipment in such facilities along with make and detailed specifications. Additionally, record would also be prepared to evaluate that the equipment is in top working condition or not and what are the reasons if the equipment is not in working order. The efforts made by the institution to operationalise the equipment and keep it in running condition will also be recorded during data collection. The data received from the survey will be validated to establish that the equipment has been purchased in accordance with the specifications and the directions of the provincial government and the Department of Health from time to time. The consulting team was required to physically visit all (18 districts) tehsil and district headquarter hospitals in the north of province and evaluate that the equipment was in working condition or not.

Project Southern Punjab Basic Urban Services Project (Development of Websites for 21 participating Tehsils) (2008)

Brief Description The Project Coordination Office appointed the consultants to develop websites for the 21 participating TMAs of the SPBUS Project. To carryout the task in an efficient and effective way, the firm designed and launched a comprehensive survey to collect information / data relating to health, education, tourism, administration, population, etc. in all the TMAs which was subsequently uploaded on their respective websites.
   
Project Need Analysis of Chinese Products in Lahore, Pakistan (2008)
Client Wenzhu Carspa Electronics Technology Co. Ltd., Wenzhu Zhejiang, China.
Brief Description The survey was launched with the objective to assess the demand of Chinese products including invertors, chargers, UPSs, etc. in Lahore. A large number of electronics vendors in Hall Road, Hafeez Centre and other hardware markets were interviewed to assess their requirement of Chinese product and the its demand in the local market. Moreover, a survey of potential users of the products were also interviewed by visiting company offices, colleges, households of selected areas, etc.
   
Project Need Evaluation Survey for provision of Basic Health and Education Services (2006)
Client Sayya Foundation (NGO), Pakistan
Brief Description Sayya Foundation, is a Non-Government Organization, based in Rajanpur. The NGO is providing basic health and education facilities to the marginalized section of the society. The foundation has also launched Micro Credit Program to empower farmers and unskilled poor people in their income generating activities and empower women about their rights. So far the foundation has established 43 schools and around 200 adult literacy centers to facilitate community education in the area. Moreover, we have also established a hospital in District Rajanpur which is providing all basic health facilities alongwith free medicines to the poor especially the women and the children.

The project was conceived with the objective to conduct detailed study of District Rajanpur to assess the basic health and education facilities available to the residents of the area. An in-depth research was required about the government and private sector facilities available in rural and urban areas of the District. Identification of deprived areas was the major objective of the project for establishment of basic health centres and primary schools by the NGO.

   
Project Market Research for launching Calling Cards (2006)
Client Viva Telecom Limited, Pakistan
Brief Description The project was aimed at assessing the needs of low priced international calling cards which were offering the calls from ordinary phone lines by using VoIP service for the citizens of Pakistan especially for Punjab province. The study was instrumental in making decision by one of the private sector limited company to launch a calling card under the operator license of Warid Telecom Limited which is a leading name in the telecommunication industry of Pakistan.

Brief Description The project was launched on behalf of a private sector Business Institute located in Karachi with the objective to establish its campus in Faisalabad. The study helped the management in successfully establishing a campus in Faisalabad.

Brief Description The project was aimed at assessing the needs of the citizens of Bahawalpur and its suburbs for higher education. The study was instrumental in making decision by one of the leading private sector Institution to establish its campus Bahawalpur.

Brief Description The project was launched on behalf of the largest I.T. Institute of Pakistan having campuses in all major cities of Pakistan with the objective to establish another campus in Gujranwala. The study helped the management in successfully establishing a campus in Gujranwala.
